Vojtech (Joe) KalfusVojtech (Joe) Kalfus - President & CEO

Everything starts with a dream, and many decades ago, in a country called Czechoslovakia, a baby was born. From his father's side, his roots were in the financial world and hospitality, and from his mother's side, roots in farming and the medical industry.

His grandfather was the #1 medical doctor in Europe, with more than 53,000 successful surgeries. His other grandfather was a minister of education in the 1st Czech republic. His uncle was a Minister of Finance, whose father was a university professor. He also played 1st violin in the Czech Symphony Orchestra.

After trying for almost 15 years to immigrate to the United States, Vojtech (Joe) Kalfus finally realized his dream. With no prior knowledge of the country, he started working in a small town in North Dakota. Later, he moved to Chicago, where he was introduced to people like Jim Rhon, Zig Ziglar, Les Brown and other motivational giants.

Like most people who have a BIG DREAM, and are able to read, listen, and watch these life changing speakers, success is almost always guaranteed.

In late 1990, Mr. Kalfus opened his first company in Europe testing the most skeptical market in the world with a great success.

Coming back to the United States with an even BIGGER DREAM, Mr. Kalfus opened one of the LARGEST, and BEST companies for people who have a dream, a vision and drive to succeed.

Some years later, MarketMax International was born, and after 3 years of development, MarketMax Internatational was made ready for official launch in late 2009.

Hynek CesanyHynek Cesany - VP International Marketing

Born in the small town of Trinec, located in Northern Moravia, Czech Republic, Hynek was the son of a plastic surgeon. He studied in gymnastics and enjoyed tennis, art, music and hiking.

After school he worked as a photographer, then as an assistant director in television in Ostrava, and further studied the art of movie making at FAMU and Barrandov.

His studies were interrupted, however, for political reasons as he was punished by the former Czech communist government in 1983 and shortly afterward, left his homeland in search for a dream, and freedom.

Having gone through a refugee camp in Italy, Hynek eventually came to the United States, where his new life started in the same small town of Bottineau, North Dakota, two days before Vojtech arrived. Together they walked first baby steps in the new country, America.

Hynek studied at Dickinson State College to become a truck driver, refusing an offer from a television station in Minot to work as a camera operator. After school he moved to Fargo and worked as a truck driver in 48 states. On his trips Hynek fell in love with the West Coast and moved to Coos Bay, Oregon, still driving semi-trucks, while Vojtech went East to Chicago in search of his own dream.

Hynek and Vojtech started to get their feet wet in network marketing, with their first company as a starting point, learning all the curves and the straight roads to success. Hynek was successful in networking, organizing seminars, teaching newcomers, selling products, and over the years, he learned almost all there is to know about multi-level marketing. He completely understood how this system had created numerous millionaires over the decades.

He then started his own delivery company, moved to Florida and became involved in security and personal protection, and then car sales. In January 2009, he moved to Acapulco, Mexico, where he lived with his youngest daughter.

From Acapulco, he started to work closely with Vojtech, who after three years of hard work, had built his own dream...a network marketing company, and. MarketMax International was born. Hynek's abilities to speak several different languages helped him to successfully build a strong international downline with Marketmax, and recently moved to a wonderful place, 7000 feet high in the state of Chiapas, Southern Mexico. From his beautiful home in San Cristobal de Las Casas, he continues to build his strong business with MarketMax together with his wife Betty, working daily with Vojtech and enjoying a wonderful life.

 

Betty DuranBertha (Betty) Duran - Worldwide Finance

Betty was born in Mèxico, in a small town called Yurecuaro, in Michoacàn. She was lucky enough to grow up with a great family. Her father being the first anesthesiology doctor in town, her mother was an interesting character with thoughts ahead of her time, and she was the youngest of three sisters. She enjoyed a normal and wonderful childhood focused on her studies, art, and having a good time.

When she turned 18, she moved to Guadalajara, Jalisco and then earned a degree in Public Accounting.

Sports were always an important part of her life, working as an aerobics instructor, and getting a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. At the same time she was gaining experience as an accountant, taking baby steps in the world of corporate finance.

Then her career fun started, when she worked for North American, Japanese, Canadian, and European international companies and her life perspective completely changed. She got to know different cultures, ways of working and ways of thinking. Though working "on the edge" with all of the pressure of scaling positions and increasing responsibilities, she never forgot to have fun and see the world with her own eyes.

Corporate responsibilities held in Europe, Asia, North America and Mexico leaded her to travel and build great working teams. During that time she also built great friendships, got to know new places, and learned the culture of different countries by talking to people, tasting their food, going to local places and having her eyes opened to the concept of always seeking the best in life from everything and everyone.

With all of these outstanding life experiences, Betty decided to make a huge turn in her life, by moving to San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas (South of Mexico) to enjoy a simple but truthful life. San Cristobal was the perfect place to make her dreams true, by running her own crafts store, and at the same time, seizing the opportunity with Marketmax, first by reviewing the structure and understanding it as a great opportunity business, and then joining the company. Today, she is building a strong business with Marketmax, together with her husband Hynek.

 

Robert McNulty and ChicaRobert NcNulty - Executive Partner & Lead Trainer

I am a salesperson at heart and was selling at a very young age even before I knew it. I sold my mother every time I went to the store and wanted something. I was able to ask questions and convince her, it was needed right now.

I went to college for 8 years to be a Dr. of Naprapathy and had 9 months internship until the school was closed temporarily for political reasons. They were having similar problems with the Medical Practice Act that Chiropractors faced in the 50's. I still help people with nutritional advice and give treatments to family and friends but I am not practicing professionally now.

I have been in and out of network marketing for 20 plus years and have built organizations of over 2000 people in two different companies before the use of this great tool called the Internet! In other words, the "old school way" yes, the hard way, using phones, 1-on-1's and a lot of hotel meetings.

During those years and early in my sales career I had a job with a basement waterproofing company. It was a hard sale because if the person didn't have water in the basement at the time I would have to create the sale by showing them signs of water when there was no real water yet. I was able to incorporate my skills from basement waterproofing sales for network marketing because you are dealing with people.

It was a good learning experience but I moved on to cars for a month then did a lot of telemarketing and moved up eventually to manage a 30 person room selling travel packages, and another company was Lucent technologies overseeing a 40 person room.

After that, I went into a more conventional sales job working for a medical technology software company. I was able to use my combined knowledge of natural healing and sales but still was not getting the satisfaction that I could work in a field that I truly loved and could help people succeed from humble beginnings like my own story. So, I wound up being called back into the greatest people business of all, network marketing! Feeling I was back doing what I love and being paid what I was worth, I started searching my old contacts from the last 20 years and found my old friend and colleague Mr. Vojta Kalfus whom I had worked with to build two companies with thousands of distributors with downline members achieving incomes of 5 figures a month!

I am fortunate now to be in the right place and the right time again to get to work with my old friend in his company MarketMax International. I am now lead trainer and executive partner and have found my home in this company and we are going to take it to the next level.
